Directions from Horsforth to our Leeds base
Horsforth is a town on the north-west edge of Leeds, with its own station, Town Street and a ring of semis, terraces and newer estates. Broadway and New Road Side take through traffic towards the ring road and the airport. The streets behind them are quieter, with drives on many of the later houses and tighter parking on the older ones near the centre.
Town Street is where a van is most likely to be in the way. Shops, the library and short-stay bays leave little room for a long load. If the house is on a side street, we stop there. If it is above a shop, we need the loading position and the stair details before the day. Horsforth station adds commuter parking on the southern side. School-run times on the roads towards the ring road are slow. None of that is a reason to block a junction.
From Woodhouse the drive is about five miles, usually via the A660. It is still a local Leeds job. If the other end is beyond Leeds, we treat the mileage honestly. Insurance is provided.

Town Street has short bays and a lot of foot traffic. A house just behind it is easier if we can stop on the residential side. If you are near the station, commuter cars thin out after the morning peak. New Road Side is the slow road at school time, so we avoid sitting across a junction there.
