Directions from Beeston to our Leeds base
Beeston is south Leeds, on the hill above the M621, with Elland Road in the middle of it. Town Street has the library and the shops. Behind it are terraces, back-to-backs and streets that climb. Further towards the motorway there are later houses and flats. A match day changes the whole area, not just the ground.
On a match afternoon the roads to the stadium, the pub car parks and the side streets fill. A removal van competing with supporters for a kerb is a bad plan. If the keys can be released in the morning, take that. If they cannot, tell us the street so we can see whether it is inside the worst of the traffic. Outside match days the issue is ordinary: narrow roads, parked cars and doors that open onto the pavement.
The M621 is the quick way from other parts of Leeds until it is not. From Woodhouse we cross the centre or use the motorway, about four miles. Insurance is provided. Middleton tip is the household site to the south if you are clearing before we arrive.
See house removals and flat removals. Nearby: Holbeck and Morley. Leeds removals is based in Woodhouse, north of the river.
If the street is inside the Elland Road match footprint, morning is the workable time. Town Street has the library and some free parking for that building, which is not the same as a bay outside a terrace further up the hill. Middleton tip is the clear-out site to the south, with its own entrance past the supermarket.
