Alwoodley is the northern suburb around King Lane, between Moortown and the ring road. Houses are mostly detached and semi-detached, with drives, garages and gardens. Some plots are long, so the carry from the drive to the door is further than it looks from the road. Gravel, gates and a slope all change how we bring a piano or a wardrobe in.

The ring road and King Lane are busy at school times and at the evening peak. Side streets are quieter, but a large van in a narrow drive can block the neighbour. If you would rather we stayed on the road, say so. We will not drive onto a lawn to save a few steps. Moor Allerton centre has the library and the shops. Its car park is for that centre.

From Woodhouse the trip is about five miles up Harrogate Road. Insurance is provided. It is a local Leeds job unless the other address is outside the city.

See house removals and piano removals if an instrument is moving. Nearby: Moortown and Adel. Leeds removals is based in Woodhouse.

Long drives are common, and so are cars that stay on them. Leave room or tell us to use the road. King Lane at school time is slow. We will not cross a lawn to shorten the walk. Gravel and a slope are worth a mention when you book a piano. The ring road is the fast way round, not a place to stop. Moortown is the junction to the south.
